Jose Gaspar
“I like my job".
Where else can you meet so many interesting people and get a chance to know something about them?” A naturalized U.S. citizen, Jose was born in Mexico and raised in Chicago. And being bilingual and bicultural affords Jose the chance to fit right in with Kern County. Coming to Eyewitness News in 1988, Jose has covered all there is to cover in local news, and then some. And it’s a job he takes seriously, especially in covering education. “ While some schools are doing great, it’s a different story for others. That’s why when I was asked if I would be a mentor for students at Bakersfield College, I was glad to pitch in and try and help students not only apply for college, but help them finish college, too.” You can watch Jose on Eyewitness News at 5 and 6PM You can e-mail Jose at jgaspar@eyeoutforyou.com |
