Weather
Aaron Perlman
He's your friendly neighborhood weatherman.
Aaron Perlman has always wanted to be a weather forecaster since he did a live weather forecast at the local Fox affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona right after high school. "It was just being at the right place at the right time, and a lot of God's grace. I always wanted to share with people important information, and what better information to give than the weather!" Although there's not much weather in Phoenix, he watched meteorologists try to describe the weather with so much enthusiasm; he realized that's the best way: give excitement, tell the weather story and why the weather will matters for you. Aaron graduated at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcasting with a minor in meteorology at Arizona State University. He then went to Yuma, Arizona to be their chief weather forecaster at the CBS affiliate KSWT-13. One year later, Aaron became a part of your Eyewitness News team on Daybreak. If you haven't caught the trend, he loves warm, hot places to live (Phoenix, Yuma and Bakersfield). "Working with a great weather team, meteorologist Miles Muzio, and an experienced news team makes Bakersfield a great home." Aaron loves being a part of the community. He's the worship leader for "The Gathering" at First Assembly of God in Bakersfield. Leading worship is not new to Aaron. He lead worship for his home church in Phoenix at Calvary Community Church of Calvary Chapel. Aaron also has a twin brother Joshua and a little brother Phillip (who are both taller than him). Even though his whole family still lives in Phoenix, he loves California. "I've always wanted to be a weather forecaster in California. Bakersfield is the best place, with snow to the Northeast, fog in the winter and the hot temperatures to remind me of home." You can always catch Aaron trying to make the community a part of the weather forecast. "Hey Aaron, How's the Weather?", Aaron Perlman's Pearls' of Wisdom, and going to schools to talk about weather are just few of the things he loves to do. What's next for Aaron… just to be your friendly neighborhood weatherman. You can watch Aaron weekdays on Eyewitness News at Noon and mornings on Daybreak from 5 to 7AM You can e-mail Aaron at aperlman@eyeoutforyou.com |
