Newscast Producer 29 Eyewitness News is looking for a newscast producer. We’re Bakersfield’s most aggressive station, on the verge of being the market leader. Ideal candidates must possess exceptional writing skills, demonstrate leadership and make informed decisions, good communication skills, strong news judgment and television production skills. Needs to have knowledge of microwave & satellite systems. Must be able to troubleshoot contemporary equipment to the component level. Strong knowledge of computers is a plus. This is an IBEW position. Minimum Requirements: Preferred candidate will have UHF television transmitter experience. Understand video signals and audio levels. Transmitter monitoring & basic knowledge of transmitters. Must be able to acceptably read, write & speak the English language. Must possess valid driver’s license.
