One teacher in Bakersfield is reading between the lines to help her students expand on their ABC's.

Our newest One Classroom at a time winner is Janet Brandon from Munsey School in Bakersfield.

Mrs. Brandon has started a new program "Learn to read with my DVD".

The grant will purchase DVD's and stories for students to take home with them to follow along and better learn how to read.

Mrs. Brandon hopes as students build their vocabulary skills, they will increase their language test scores within the District and State.
