Forecast Discussion

Perfect for Mom

More great weather was enjoyed in California on Friday as a nice Mother's Day weekend was starting. Highs rose into the mid 80s across the south valley and near 70 in the mountains. Little significant change is forecast for the next couple of days, other than a slight warming trend. By Monday a dry cold front will pass through the region bringing daytime readings down 5 to 10 degrees. But thereafter a strong ridge of high pressure is set to form over the west. This mountain of warm air will likely allow temperatures to reach the highest levels yet this season. By Thursday the south valley should warm to the mid and upper 90s. A few triple digits are not out of the question within the next 7 days
